CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO

It is 18 degrees this morning.  We leave the panhandle of Oklahoma and traverse through the panhandle of Texas.  The road we're on runs parallel to the railroad and about every five miles we meet a long east bound train carrying double-deck shipping containers.  We enter New Mexico at Clovis which is a small town spread out over several square miles.
Our own personal Christmas tree.
